This bouquet of hand picked peonies is painted in honor of my grandmother, who raised me with love and quiet strength. I placed them in a small milk creamer she would have adored, a simple object that reminds me of the things we treasured even when we could not afford much. Through this painting I hope to share a sense of her warmth and the beauty she found in everyday moments.
