IN BLOOM
The In Bloom collection is inspired by the flowers I encounter in everyday life. Sometimes I'll be out walking my dog and come across a bloom that immediately catches my attention. Other times, a flower's color, shape, or presence stays with me, and I know I have to paint it. These paintings feature close-up views of flowers at their peak, whether gathered together, suspended in space, or enlarged to fill the canvas. Through this collection, I hope to preserve the beauty of those moments and create lasting portraits of blooms that might otherwise be gone too soon.
