WHERE THE LIGHT LINGERS

38” x 48” oil on canvas

These peonies were in full bloom, their soft pink petals and gentle fragrance filling the room. Their beauty felt fleeting, lasting only for a moment. One evening, the bouquet was bathed in warm golden light, and I knew I had to capture that moment to preserve its brief glow. This painting is my way of holding onto something that would have otherwise disappeared in an instant.
